Trac Racing was first base on Stephane Trahan's racing effort. It all started in 1986 with the "Le Volant" FF1600 school
championship, then to various Solo 1 and Solo2 Championship. In the '90 it then went back to road racing in the GT Championship and the FF1600
Championship, Culminating in 4 GT Championships and half a hundred podiums.

1998 saw the wind of change for Trac Racing, first was the "Grand-Prix of Trois-Rivieres"
participation in the Touring class of the World Challenge. With no modification or change of set up, Stephane was able to clinch an 8th place
finish in a class ferociously competitive. From the association made with the team's sponsor, Stephane decided to open a
Tuning Center that would showcase the team's staff talent and the sponsors extraordinary produts.
The emplacement for that Tuning Center would not be easy to find, needs for high traffic area, easy
access and proper set up made the findings extremely hard. We made the finding! It was just under our nose a closed up Car dealership! A
10,000sq ft set up on the most travel boulevard of the city and 300ft from the major highway! Trac Racing had found a home.
Equipped with our racing staff and corporate sponsors, we open the facility on March '99. Instant
success from long time recognition of our racing effort made the difference. 1999 was a year mostly dedicated to the business structure. Being the
only Canadian Tuner with real racing experience placed us in different sphere and although we had to prioritize we are back in 2001 with a solid
racing program, making our customer and us proud to wear the Trac Racing family colors.
